David Beckham has just gotten another huge paycheck. The British football star was recently snapped up to be the ambassador of Sky Television. The 5 year gig will see the PSG player earn £4m a year. Beckham will be involved with the Sky Sports Living for Sport initiative, which uses sports stars as mentors for young athletes.
Sky Sports chose the former England captain as its ambassador in a bid to counter their rivals (BT Sport) who recently chose Tottenham attacker Gareth Bale as its ambassador. David Beckham’s pay package trumps that of Bale’s as the Welsh singer will be taking home £6m in three years.
