APGA HITS GOV. ROCHAS OKOROCHA
All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State has
concluded plans to recover the governorship mandate given to it in the state in
the 2011 general elections through the court.
Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, the party 's interim
chairman, Barr. Chudi Onuzo, said that APGA' s decision to initiate legal
proceedings was taken when it became evident that Gov. Rochas Okorocha, who was
elected on its platform, had fully defected to All Progressive Congress (APC).
Owelle, he said is now chairman of APC governor's forum, and
so it is now clear, and not rumor, that he has left APGA.

IMO STATE BANKS CLOSED BECAUSE OF TAX CLEARANCE
Imo state Government in its bid to recover over N2 billion withholding tax owned to it by commercial banks operating in the state, Imo Government yesterday through its Board of Internal Revenue sealed up the premises of the eight defaulting banks in compliance of a court order.
The affected commercial banks are the Zenith Bank, UBA, Union Bank, Diamond Bank, Keystone Bank, Enterprise Bank,Eco Bank, Fidelity Bank and First Bank.

MYSTERIOUS HEALING RIVER SPRINGS UP IN A VILLAGE IN ENUGU STATE, NIGERIA
A healing mystery stream has surprisingly appeared in Nachi community in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, almost 42 years after it allegedly surfaced and disappeared in the same place.
The miracle stream, as it is now fondly called by millions of Nigerians, both young and old, especially sick ones and their relations, surfaced and disappeared in 1972 and reappeared this time around in the area about two weeks ago.
